What an absolutely hoot we had, thanks to the fantastic team at Northampton Transport Heritage! Every day, our members were treated to scenic rides around town aboard the beautifully restored classic Northampton Corporation Transport buses — with vintage favourites 267 and 154 taking turns behind the wheel.

From the moment we stepped onto the bus, memories came flooding back: the sound of the engine, the feel of the seats, the views from the top deck… and speaking of the top deck — that’s where all the laughter could be heard! It quickly became the loudest and liveliest spot of the bus each day, filled with joy, stories, and plenty of singing.

These trips weren’t just about transport; they were about connection, nostalgia, and creating new memories together. For many of our members, it was a chance to reminisce about years gone by, and for all of us, it was simply fun.
