We were absolutely delighted to welcome the team from 60 Miles by Road or Rail as part of their brilliant heritage project — and even more thrilled that some of our wonderful Affinity Day Care members were chosen to take part!

Sisters Nancy and Betty, married couple June and Ron, and our radiant 103-year-old Kay shared their stories of growing up in a very different Northampton — from wartime memories to community spirit that stood the test of time.

These cherished Affinity friends are now set to be featured in a comic book anthology and oral history series. It’s a beautiful tribute to the voices, resilience and warmth of older adults, and we’re so proud to be involved.
