At Affinity, we’re lucky to be surrounded by individuals whose lives are full of rich stories, resilience, and inspiration - and Pearl, known to many as Kay, is exactly that.

Born in 1921 on a farm in Buckinghamshire, Kay’s early life was rooted in the rhythm of the countryside. She moved to Northampton in 1947, when it was still a small market town. Over the years, she’s watched it grow and change — and through it all, her outlook has remained the same: hopeful, helpful, and heartwarming.

Kay is a firm believer in the power of kindness. Her secret to a long and happy life? Helping others. A true optimist, she radiates positivity and reminds us daily of the beauty in simple, meaningful connections.
